News from the underground(s)

Got at b3co.com!

Most of my travel occured over 40 years ago, but I remember the train systems of Europe with great fondness. My friend Nev was the designated leader on our European excursions, because it was impossible for her to get lost, and impossible for me not to. We knew the Madrid system inside out by the time our six weeks at the Universidad de Madrid came to an end.

Aside from the New York Metro, I haven't used much U.S. public transportation.

How many systems have YOU used?

Let's see so far in my life.
I have extensively used the Chicago system CTA, since I grew up and worked in Chicago until I was 26 years old and my parents never had a car or learned how to drive.

I have also used the system in Atlanta, while at school there especially going to shop and visit underground Atlanta.

Then also had to show my husband who designed part of the system in Washington D.C. how to use that system when we were there in 2000 for the great fireworks on the Mall on July 4th,2000. It was spectacular. No system in California, so I white knuckled on the freeways there.
Have not been to New York, but hope to use that one before I leave this earth.
